Deleting your account and data

You can erase everything AAYO holds about you, at any time, without asking anyone. Export it first if you want it — that is free too.

In the app — the fastest way

Open AAYO and go to Settings → Your data. There you can export everything you have written, and below that, Erase all my data. You will be asked to confirm once. It takes effect immediately.

By request — if you no longer have the app

Email privacy@aayo.in from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. Sending it from your own address is how we know the request is yours; if you cannot, tell us and we will find another way to verify you.

We will confirm within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will not try to talk you out of it, and there is no retention offer.

What gets deleted

• Every note, voice recording, photo and link you captured.
• Everything AAYO derived from them — memories, titles, commitments, people, subjects and connections.
• Your questions and the answers built from your material.
• Your account, sign-in identity, device list and preferences.
• Backups, as they roll over on their normal cycle within 30 days.

There are no shadow archives, and nothing is kept to make you easier to win back.

What is kept, and why

If you ever paid, we keep the invoice records — the fact, date and amount of a transaction — for as long as Indian tax law requires us to. These contain no content from your account: no notes, no questions, nothing you wrote. That is the only exception.

Deleting one thing rather than everything

You do not have to delete your account to remove something. Deleting a single memory in the app removes it and everything derived from it in the same action.
