Terms of service
What you are agreeing to, in the order it matters. Using AAYO means accepting these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
The service
AAYO is a personal memory. It preserves what you choose to capture and helps you retrieve and reason about it. It is offered as-is during early access, and features may change as we learn — but not in ways that take away what you have already written.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right to what you capture. You grant us only the processing rights needed to run the service for you: storing it, syncing it between your devices, searching it, and the AI features you invoke.
That grant ends when you do. We do not use your content to train AI models, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. You are responsible for having the right to store what you capture.
AI output is assistance, not authority
Summaries, answers, extracted commitments and proposals are derived interpretations, and they can be wrong. AAYO shows you the notes an answer was built from so you can check it — that is what the citations are for, and they are worth reading.
AAYO is not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional. Consequential decisions remain yours.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. AAYO is for one person: it is a personal memory, and sharing an account would mean sharing somebody’s private material with whoever else signed in. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access.
You must be 18 or older to use AAYO.
Paying, and stopping
Every account starts with the full product free for 30 days. No card is needed and there is nothing to cancel — at the end of the month you land on the free plan and keep everything you wrote.
After that, the full product is sold as a pass: ₹499 buys thirty days. It is a single payment, not a subscription. We do not keep a payment method on file, nothing is charged again, and there is nothing to cancel — when the thirty days end you return to the free plan and keep everything you wrote. If you buy another pass while one is still running, the days are added to what you have rather than replacing it.
You buy a pass on this website and redeem it in the app with the reference on your receipt. Each reference can be redeemed once. Prices can change, and because nothing renews, a change can only ever affect a pass you have not bought yet.
Acceptable use
Don’t use AAYO to violate other people’s privacy or rights, to store unlawful content, or to attempt to compromise, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Accounts used to surveil other people will be terminated.
If we have to suspend an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. Except where the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it, we will tell you why and give you the chance to export everything first. We will not close an account to avoid honouring an export.
What we do not promise
We work hard to keep AAYO available and correct, and we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, never lose a sync, or never be wrong about something it read. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — export exists for exactly that and is free on every plan.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability we are not permitted to limit.
Leaving
You can export everything and delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data, or request deletion here if you no longer have the app installed. Neither is behind a paywall and neither requires asking us.
If we ever discontinue the service you will get at least 90 days’ notice and a full export.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change we will update the date above, and for anything material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect — not after.
Law, and reaching us
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before that, please just write to us — most things are a misunderstanding and are quicker to fix than to argue about.
